►Please note that seconds pieces are only available in the sizes and colours shown, and that the colour indicated in the 'length' drop down list will be sent, regardless of the colour selected above.
This 'easyblackout' blackout material attaches directly to the window frame using self-adhesive VELCRO® brand hook fastener tape or 3M Command(TM) Strips or to the glass using our suction cups , all available separately. Whichever method you choose should be arranged around the window or frame as appropriate, then simply press easyblackout material against it for a great blackout blind!
Easyblackout fabric is 135cm wide, and available in the lengths above. This fabric can be used either way around, so the 135cm side can be used for either the width or the height of your window.
►Cutting Service We can cut your fabric to size if you wish. To make a blackout blind, please measure your window including all of the frame, ie from wall to wall. Please add 4cm to the height and to the width measurements. This gives a small overlap on each of the four sides which is required for best blackout. This small ovelap should 'fold' around and sit against the window recess or surround. Please note that we will cut the size you tell us, we don't add the 4cm.
►'Seconds' fabric From time to time, we have some easyblackout material that isn't quite perfect in appearance - it is perfectly usable, but may have some small marks so we can't sell it as 'first' stock. We think it would be a shame to throw it away so we offer it at a discounted price. It is a bargain really, because when your blackout is up, you can't see it anyway!
For use with any of the following:
Easy to cut with sharp scissors, easyblackout blackout material doesn't fray, so there is no need to hem!
For best blackout, it is important to ensure that the blackout fabric is slightly larger than the window frame so that there is an excess of approximately 2cm on each of the four sides - this excess will lean against the window frame cutting out light that might otherwise pass around the sides.
